Aiden started Kindergarten this year!!! He asked about starting kindergarten at least once a day since June so when the day finally came he was excited. On the first Wednesday of school, he went in for a school visit with Mom and they spent about an hour in the class. After that they went out and picked up a few errands. By the time I got home from school, he was sound asleep on the couch with Molly (see below). We think his excitement got the best of him and he simply wore himself out.

On the second Monday, he went to school on the bus for the first time all by himself. He was absolutely insistent on carrying his backpack on his back, which is really cute since the backpack is about 3/4 the size of him and sometimes looks like its going to cause him to fall backwards. When the bus he bounced up the stairs and has never looked back. He such an independent little guy.
