Abby started in Grade 1 this year and boy was she excited according to Mom. Because of my new hours at work I left before she really woke up this year. What I can tell you was that when she did get up she was excited to get going. She was really happy to be going to school all day and she put on her new outfit for the first day. She had oatmeal for breakfast packed her new schoolbag and her Aiden and Mommy headed to the bus stop. As you can see from the picture it was a very warm day, I believe it was in the high 20’s that day and everyday for the rest of the first week.

When she got to the bus stop, we took one more picture of her for good measure. When she got home from school, she hardly told us anything about the first day except what her teacher’s name was and what friends were in her class. All in all it was a great day.
