Just before the Christmas holidays started, Melissa got a job in the OR at PRHC. However, before, she could start, she needed to complete the perioperative course at George Brown College. So, after we returned from our trip to North Carolina and Universal on Saturday, Melissa had to pack up and head to Toronto the very next day to begin taking her course. She stayed at her cousin Steven’s house during the week and came home on the weekends for all of January and February while completing the course. She not only completed the course, she completed it with Honours and got on the Deans List!!! This was no surprise to us, as we saw how hard she worked on the course and how determined she was to succeed in this new field of nursing.
Abby, Aiden and I were so proud of her!!!
