Abby’s 10th Birthday

Abby was extremely excited about turning 10 this year. It was all she could talk about for the 2 weeks leading up to her birthday. She also started asking questions like, “am I old enough to have a cell phone?” She also started asking where she was allowed to talk or bike on her own in the neighbourhood.

For her 10th birthday, Abby asked to have a girls day with her Mom and her best friend Ava. So, Melissa arranged for her to go to the movies to watch Petes Dragon with Ava and Rachel. After the movies they went out for dinner together.
