We had a low-key Mother’s Day weekend this year since Melissa had to work on Sunday night.

On Saturday, the kids and Melissa went to the dog park with Marley & Lindy for a couple of hours while I weeded & laid out the mulch in the backyard. The yard work continued into Sunday with me finishing late Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday afternoon after Melissa had her nap, the kids gave her her Mother’s Day Presents. Mine came a few days later (an ice-cream scoop to replace the one that I broke a year ago)
