At the end of October, Melissa, Abby and Aiden went to Rouyn-Noranda to attend a ceremony where Melissa’s Great Uncle Gill was awarded the “Knight Legion of Honor” medal for his service during the liberation of France during WWII . More specifically, Great Uncle Gill landed in Normandy on D-Day and helped fight to liberate France.

Peter’s Trip to Rattlesnake Point
While the Melissa and the kids were away, I enjoyed some of the fall colours at Rattlesnake Point. On the day I was there, there were a lot of rock climbers there doing some training. On the day I was there it was absolutely gorgeous and I walked for about 2 hours enjoying all the sites and sounds.
